Methodist clergyman; secretary of Manitoba conference of the Methodist Church, 1900, of Saskatchewan conference, 1904; represented Saskatchewan at the World Sunday School Convention in Jerusalem, 1904; moved to the Maritimes, 1910 (Morgan, Canadian men and women of the time, 1912; Wallace, Dictionary of Canadian biography). // Also published in 1907, bound with Peel 1061. Biography of Booth, who was caught in a winter storm in Manitoba, and as a result his hands and feet had to be amputated. Written as a lesson on the virtues of temperance.
